Anush has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over two years. But she has worked in the field for around seven years. She has been a child nutrition and sport nutrition intern and by working with more than 200 athletes and around 100 children have influenced their eating habits and performance positively. She has also been a writer and editor for VA’s “Let’s Get Healthy” monthly newsletter where she wrote articles and provided weekly recipes to be used for variety of health conditions.
She currently works as a consultant dietitian at different adult day care and senior centers and provides evidence-based nutritional consulting to the adults for conditions and diseases, such as, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, kidney disease, and liver disease. The main goal is to address the weight change by offering education on balanced eating meal patterns and prevent complications of the current health status of the participants. Anush also performs menu and kitchen inspection for the centers and ensures safe and sanitary conditions at the sites.
